Create an account: No email address required
Open the 29VPN account creation page first. You only need to set a username and password; no email address is required. The username will be used to sign in to the user panel, while the password protects your orders, subscription, and client access. Submit the form when finished. If the page says the username is already taken, choose a memorable name that is not reused with another service.
After the account is created, the browser will open the user panel. Check that the username shown in the upper-right corner or account area matches the one you just set before choosing a plan. This helps prevent placing an order under another account when switching between browser tabs. Store your password separately; this page will not ask you to paste it or display any real subscription content.
If you already have an account, open the panel through “Log in” in the page header; there is no need to repeat the process. If you have trouble accessing the account, visit the Help Center and open the account and subscription section. This quick guide covers the standard activation flow, not account recovery or complex troubleshooting.
Try FreeChoose a plan and place your order
On the panel’s plans page, choose between a monthly subscription and a data package based on how you plan to use the service. Monthly subscriptions reset data each month on the activation date. Current options are ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. If you upgrade partway through a cycle, the difference is prorated by the remaining days. Data packages remain available until used and never expire, making them suitable for irregular usage and flexible spending control.
After selecting a plan, the order confirmation page will show the plan name, data allowance, and amount due again. Check these details before paying, rather than judging the tier by the button’s position. Payment methods include Alipay, WeChat, and USDT. Complete payment with an available method, then return to the order page and wait for the status to update. Do not submit the same order repeatedly.
Proceed to the next step after the order becomes active. All plans support unlimited devices, but each subscription should be used only on devices you control. 29VPN offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund; see the Refund Policy for eligibility and instructions. If you are still comparing monthly subscriptions and data packages, read the full plan details before returning to the panel.
Get the subscription link from the user panel
After the payment status updates, open Account Overview in the user panel. The subscription section shows the current plan status, data information, and subscription controls. Click Copy Subscription Link to place the address for the current account on the clipboard. Clients use this address to retrieve route configuration, so do not share it in public chats, forums, or screenshots.
The address below is a dummy value used only to show the expected format. It is not associated with 29VPN and cannot establish a connection. In practice, copy only the link generated for the current account in the user panel:
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
You do not need to open the copied address in a browser. Instead, go to the client’s subscription manager and import the link as a remote subscription. If the client says the link is empty, the clipboard may not have been updated correctly. Return to the panel, copy it again, and paste it into a plain text field to check that the beginning is intact. Delete the temporary text afterward.
If the subscription section does not appear in Account Overview, first confirm that the order is active and refresh the panel. If it is still missing, use the ticket entry in the user panel to report the order status; do not construct the subscription address yourself. For a fuller explanation of subscription delivery and maintenance, read the Complete User Guide.
Open Account OverviewImport on Windows and macOS
On desktop, get the 29VPN client from the client download page in the user panel. This marketing page does not provide static installers; the signed-in panel shows the appropriate entry for each platform. After installing and launching the client, look for “Subscription Management,” “Add Subscription,” or “Import from URL.” Wording may vary between versions, but these options are found in configuration or subscription settings.
Paste the copied subscription link into the address field, give it a recognizable name, then add or update it. Return to the route list when finished; available routes should appear by region. Choose a route based on the location required by the service you want to access. There is no need to adjust every advanced option at the start. Once the list updates successfully, select a route and turn on the connection switch on the main screen.
Open Subscription Management
Open Subscription Management in the 29VPN client, choose Add by Link, paste the link, and update the route list. If the system asks for network permission, confirm that the request comes from the newly installed 29VPN client, then allow the required configuration to be created.
Allow the client to connect
After importing the subscription, macOS may ask you to confirm the network configuration. Complete the system confirmation, then return to the client, choose a route, and connect. Once the menu bar shows the connection status, continue with the exit-route verification below.
The core workflow is the same on Windows and macOS; the main difference is the system authorization screen. If the subscription has been added but the route list is empty, manually update the subscription first. If the update still fails, try another route on the current network or consult Connection and Troubleshooting. Avoid creating multiple subscriptions with the same name, as it becomes difficult to tell which one is active.
Get the 29VPN clientImport a subscription on Android
Sign in to the user panel on your Android device, open the client download page, and use the entry provided there to get the 29VPN client. On first launch, the client will usually show an empty configuration list. Open the subscription or configuration page, choose Add by Link, paste the subscription address copied from the user panel, and update it.
When the route list appears, choose the target region and return to the main screen to enable the connection. The system will show a permission dialog for creating a network connection. Confirm that the app name matches the 29VPN client you just opened, then allow it. Authorization is needed only when requested by the system; changing routes later usually does not require importing the subscription again.
If copying the link from another app adds extra spaces, clear the field and paste it again. Do not edit any characters in the address manually or split the same link into multiple parts. If the subscription updates successfully but the connection fails, try another route in the same region, then turn the connection off and on again. For deeper network troubleshooting, see the Complete User Guide; this page stays focused on the basic setup path.
Get the 29VPN clientImport a subscription on iOS
Client access on iPhone and iPad differs from other platforms. Use the iOS entry provided in the user panel rather than choosing a similarly named search result. After opening a compatible client that supports subscription imports, find Add Subscription or Import from Link, paste the subscription address from the panel, and save the configuration.
The first time you enable the connection, iOS will ask for permission to add a network configuration. Confirm it and follow the system prompts, then return to the client, update the subscription, and choose a route. When the connection switch is on, the system status area will show a network indicator. This only confirms that the configuration has started; complete the next section to verify that traffic uses the expected exit route.
If you switch to a new iPhone or iPad, you do not need to create another account or purchase another plan. Sign in to the same user panel, get the current subscription again, and import it using the steps above. Unlimited devices means you can configure multiple devices you control, but treat the subscription link as an account credential. Delete the saved configuration from devices you no longer use.
View the iOS client entryConnect and verify that it works
After importing, choose a route in the client that matches the target service’s region, then enable the connection. Check that the client status changes from Disconnected to Connected before opening the website that previously did not load normally. A page loading does not mean every app will refresh its network state immediately; fully quit and relaunch apps that were already open.
Change only one condition at a time during verification. If the target website does not open as expected, confirm that the subscription was just updated, then switch to another route in the same region and reconnect. If the problem continues, temporarily close the client and confirm that the original network can access ordinary pages, then enable the client again. This order helps distinguish local network, subscription update, and route-specific issues.
Streaming and AI Tools may show different content depending on the exit region, so choose a route based on the target service’s required location rather than geographic distance alone. 29VPN covers 110+ countries and 210+ routes. See the Routes page for regional and route-type details. For more advanced route selection, continue to the Complete User Guide; there is no need to change complex parameters during the first connection.
Everyday use after connecting
During normal use, you do not need to paste the subscription link again each time. Once the client has saved it, update the subscription periodically to keep the route list and account status current. If a route is temporarily unsuitable for your network, switch to another route in the same region instead of deleting the entire subscription. Deleting and importing it again is possible, but increases the chance of duplicate configurations and selecting the wrong entry.
Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date, and current usage is available in the user panel. Data packages remain available until depleted and never expire. To upgrade a monthly subscription, use the plans page in the panel; the difference is prorated by the remaining days. After changing plans, update the subscription once in the client so the account status and local configuration stay synchronized.
The basic workflow for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS is now complete. Linux is also supported; client access and import instructions are available in the user panel and the Complete User Guide. For account, billing, speed, or connection issues, open the Help Center and search by category. For a specific order or account issue, use the ticket entry in the user panel.
Next time, just update the subscription and choose a route
Once your account, plan, and client configuration are set up, everyday use comes down to updating the route list, choosing the target region, and enabling the connection.
